Remobra
The Remobra are small serpentine wyverns that are no bigger than a Velociprey. Their main attacks are a tail whip and poison spit, these attacks are not extremely dangerous but offer great annoyance if the player is battling a larger, more attention demanding foe. They mainly hover in the air, attacking from above. They travel in groups and live in damp, water-rich areas such as the Tower, Jungles, Swamp and Gorge. However Remobras are known to migrate to areas of extreme heat; namely Volcanoes and deserts making them widely adapted to any sub tropical environment in Minegarde.
In MHFU they are not seen until players reach Level 4* Volcano Quest in the Guild, and in one quest in the Elder Quests. It has also been discovered that players are able to see them in the 4* Iodrome quest in the Guild Hall. One  can, however, flush them out in the earlier HR4 Volcano Gathering quest when the area first opens up. After clearing the top of the volcano area where there are sootstones and powerstones, collect one of these gems. Do not head back to the camp, instead, go higher up into the red zone and there will be Remobra flying around searching for prey.
Rathian
Rathian is the female counterpart of the Rathalos and also renowned as The Queen of the Wyverns. Rathians are green wyverns that slightly differ from Rathalos in looks and attacks. She has a patch of brown thorns on her upper back and her tail spikes are filled with poison. The Rathian fights on the ground a lot more than the Rathalos, who more often exhibits aerial attacks such as fireballs and claw attacks. They are prized for their rare Plates & Rubies. The Rathian has two other subspecies, the Pink Rathian and Gold Rathian.
Pink Rathian
A Pink Rathian is a subspecies of the Rathian and a cousin of the Gold Rathian. They deliver stronger attacks to that of their sister, normal Rathians but taking this apart the two are identical in all ways except colour..
The equivalent of the Pink Rathian, gender-wise, is the Azure Rathalos.
She has a heavily armoured body and will deflect most attacks unlike her counterpart Rathalos. She can be found in various quests with Azure Rathalos.
Gold Rathian
The Gold Rathian are the strongest subspecies of the Rathian species and female counterpart of the Silver Rathalos. Golden Rathian has one of the most sought out parts of all monsters. Its body is covered in a hard golden shell, making it hard to attack without the weapon bouncing off it.
Gold Rathian are physically different from the other Rathian in that they have a shiny gold color to their scales and shells. They also take damage differently than the others. Instead of their weak spot being their head, their weak spot is their wings. The only exception to this is when using a Hammer or Hunting Horn, the impact damage is still more effective on the head. The Gold Rathian are weakest to thunder elemental weapons. Like the other Rathian, the Gold Rathian can poison hunters and damage them with fire.
Rathalos
Rathalos are medium to large-sized flying wyverns, with their most notable features being their crimson appearance and fire patterned wings. Rathalos inhabit many areas; they are most commonly found in the Forest & Hills, along with the Volcanic zone and the Swamp zone. In Monster Hunter 3 they can be found in the Volcano and Island. This ability to live in the strangest and harshest of climates makes the Rathalos renowned far and wide as the King of the Wyverns.
There are two Rathalos subspecies; an Azure variant inhabiting the same zones as its red cousin, and a more solitary subspecies, the Silver Rathalos, that inhabits a far more secluded area, the ancient Tower as well as rarely the Swamp zone. All Rathalos are male, with a female counterpart known as the Rathian.
Rathalos have a whole variety of attacks, ranging from burning the hunter with a set of three fireballs from the air, to their incredibly deadly poison scratch, which leaves the hunter both poisoned and stunned.
Azure Rathalos
Azure Rathalos, also known as Blue Rathalos, is a subspecies of Rathalos whose shell has a blue/green color, and has higher stamina, as well as being more aggressive. In MHF2, Azure Rathalos is most commonly encountered in the Forest & Hills - however, in other games it can also be found in the Volcanic Areas.
Azure Rathalos' Scales and Shells can be used to make a substantially more powerful version of Rathalos armor, although they both exhibit the same weaknesses to Dragon. The various armor sets made from Azure Rathalos materials are highly prized and valued.
Its wings are more difficult to damage than the other Rathalos color variants; however, like Rathalos, its head is its most vulnerable area, and will take more damage regardless of weapon type. Also, its charge has increased more homing capabilities, and it hovers in the air to attack more than the normal Rathalos.
Silver Rathalos
Silver Rathalos are a very rare species of the red Rathalos, whose shells and scales have a shiny silver color. The Silver Rathalos has the highest stamina and strength over all the other Rathalos. In nature, it's rarely found in swamps or hills, but can most often be seen at the top of ancient towers. The Hunters Guild goes out searching for Silver Rathalos in other lands so they can be hunted in special events, where they're placed in arenas and pitted against hunters.
Monoblos
Monoblos are large hard-shelled wyverns that have the ability to dig and travel underground. Monoblos were named for the strong, singular horn protruding from their head, which is held as a prize by many hunters, as are their hearts which are very rare. They have a brown, rock-hard texture to their shell. There is a subspecies of the Monoblos known as the White Monoblos which are generally larger than their sand coloured counterparts and seen as more dangerous by hunters. Monoblos have only been spotted in desert regions, they don't have a breath attack but their ear-splitting roar is the bane of many hunters. They can only be fought offline in Monster Hunter games except Monster Hunter Frontier.
White Monoblos
White Monoblos are a subspecies of the Monoblos that took a slightly different path on the evolutionary line quite recently. Other than appearance, they are essentially the same. When not engaged with a hunter they tend to frequently move around underground which can make them hard to track. They also share a close evolutionary line with Diablos. When in rage, their mouth fumes black smoke and their head-plate gets red markings. It is also known as Monodevil, which came from the name of its armor. They have more HP than their normal coloured bretheren. Like the normal Monoblos, it cannot be found in the Guild-Hall, only in Elder and Felyne Elder Quests
Diablos
Diablos are hard-shelled wyverns, commonly found in the Desert region. Their name "Diablos," means both "Two Horned" and "Devil". They are easily recognized by their trademark dual horns protruding from their head. They have tough skin and even stronger heads, which they use as their primary weapon. Diablos have the ability to dig and travel underground, but can easily be unearthed with a Sonic Bomb. However, Sonic Bombs do not work when Diablos is enraged, due to its increased tolerance to high-frequency sounds. They are one of the most feared monsters living in the desert. It has been theorised that their horns become weaker and more brittle with age, as some individuals can be found in the Desert with only one horn, although it is possible these individuals lost a horn due to a battle with another Diablos. The Diablos can produce a high grade roar which normal earplugs do not work against.
Black Diablos
The Black Diablos is a subspecies of the Diablos. Like the other members Blos family they are known to only inhabit desert areas. Although it is more aggressive than the normal Diablos and is a different color, its attacks remain the same. The attack power is also slightly increased.
Basarios
Basarios is a small, rocky wyvern that lives in the Volcanic and Swamp regions. It is the juvenile form of Gravios. It is able to release either sleeping/poisonous gas from its underside, and on extremely rare ocassions a fire plume. It has also been known to unleash a very powerful lava beam at times, but this is very rare. It can also hurl balls of fire like a Yian Kut-Ku (although much stronger), but it prefers to charge towards predators.
When resting or changing areas, it burrows underground, exposing only its back to give the appearance of a large grey rock. Being very heavy makes it a slow mover, and although it has wings, it very rarely uses them to fly. Even when they do, their weight allows them only to fly for a very short time. In Monster Hunter, they can only stay in one area. However, in the sequels, they have gained the ability to move to different locations.
The Basarios resembles a Monoblos or a Diablos when charging, yet it is much slower and can not turn as fast.
Despite the Basarios's ability to hide, in most areas they are visible, since the rocks on his back are slightly lighter than other rocks.
Gravios
Gravios is the mature form of Basarios. Easily one of the largest wyverns found in the series, which intimidates the inexperienced. Because of its weight, Gravios do not have a tendancy of flying to travel like most other wyverns, instead they will walk from areas to areas. Similar to Basarios, it only use its wings to get out of trouble, like when the effect of Pitfall Trap has run out. It can be found in the Volcano and Swamp. They are able to go in and out of lava without any damage done to them. Gravios eat rocks and minerals for their nutrients. Gravios' Japanese title (Armor Monster) refers to its incredibly hard hide.
Black Gravios
Black Gravios are the tougher subspecies of the Gravios. Black Gravios' are accustomed to using their beam attacks more often than their grey counterparts. They also only rarely use the sleeping gas that normal Gravios use; they usually only emit explosive red gas. They have a heavier shell than the normal Gravios, which gives hunters more trouble getting through their hide with weapons. Just like the Gravios, his stomach can be broken twice, allowing hunters to cut through without bouncing off.
As with most Wyverns, its tail can be cut off, reaping up to two carves, like the Monoblos.
Espinas
Espinas is a wyvern that is, for now, exclusive to Monster Hunter Frontier. Espinas is physically similar to a Rathian, but along side scales their bodies are covered in hot pink spikes and rough green armor plating.
Orange Espinas
The Orange Espinas is a sub-species of Espinas. It is thus far exclusive to Monster Hunter Frontier. It has an orange-brown carapace with red claws, horns, brown wings and it is well-known for its Rage Mode, when yellowish colours spread across its body. It has unique weapons and armor variants of the original. It appears to be more aggressive than its green counterpart, as it has the ability to charge it's attacks for serious damage.
Its most dangerous attack is charging a fireball then releasing it in a huge purple blast. This is almost always instantly fatal.
White Espinas
The third subspecies of Espinas. This White Espinas appears from MHFO 5.5 and onwards. It has a milky white underbelly, with a very light grey carapace, finished with light purple thorns. This creature marks a completely new challenge for hunters. As is well known in Monster Hunter Frontier, a monster with a different color doesn't change in appearance alone.
This new Espinas inhabits the Great Forest Peak just like the Azure Hypnocatrice. It uses moves similar to that of the other Espinas, but also a new, exclusive attack, that could devastate whole hunting parties, and change the course of the entire quest... it flies into the air, and fires a huge reddish-purple fireball to the floor; the blast created by this explosion fires a huge wave of fire and poison which envelopes vast swathes of the area. After the initial wave, various spots will still be on fire and poisonous, making them painful to traverse.
Notice that it drinks some water on the ground after the move is performed.
Berukyurosu
The Berukyurosu is a new thunder element wyvern exclusive to Monster Hunter Frontier. It first appeared in Monster Hunter Frontier 4.0 Addition in MHFO. It appeared in the new area, Gorge. Berukyurosu is able to shoot a sweeping, linear lightning beam from its mouth, while hovering in the air. The beam itself is very similar to that of the Rajang. Berukyurosu is highly adept in aerial combat, able to do even more difficult maneuvers than the Kushala Daora. Capcom has said the AI of Berukyurosu has been upgraded and is far different from all other monster AI in the MH series. It has the ability to learn patterns of attack from hunters and will counter it, or will attack/evade accordingly. It has very similar appearance to Rathalos and it may be related to it. Also, some of its attacks are similar to that of the fire wyvern. When Enraged, the yellow mane of Berukyurosu will turn red.
Doragyurosu
Doragyurosu is a subspecies of Berukyurosu that first appeared in Season 8.5 of Monster Hunter Frontier. It lives in the Snowy Mountains, and is capable of using Dragon Element attacks. Its hair turns orange when in rage mode and it harnesses an even more advanced moveset than Berukyurosu.
The Remobra are small serpentine wyverns that are no bigger than a Velociprey.
