Yes there can be taming, but there are rules to this little thing.
1. You can not tame an adult monster. They are already set in their ways which means they will eat you or kill you if they can.
2. You have to retrieve an egg, and no they will not be easy to get or keep. They can be stolen, they can be destroyed, or you could simply drop it.
3. There will be no taming of elder dragons since they get pretty damn big. I won't tolerate people going around threatening towns for free stuff with a giant monster.
4. No threatening towns! If I see you threaten a town with your tamed beast I'll have a group of senior hunters kill it and take your stuff. I'll obviously leave you a little money to start over.
5. Feed you beast. Yes you must feed your beast or it will become feral. What a concept! Feeding your pet! Don't cook it's food if it's a carnivore.
6. Enjoy this little twist I have given you and don't abuse it. I can easily take this away and give it to people who are worthy.
