Don't care what the game says these monsters don't have a caste. The wiki said they don't know where they fit in so this is where they fit in. They are Unknown.
Khezu
Khezu is a species of wyvern that live in the cold dampness of caves. Their sickly white flesh is very moist, which keeps the creature's skin from drying. Living in dark caves, the Khezu's eyes have regressed greatly, though it is made up for with their superb sense of smell. A layer of fat helps to keep them warm and prolong their time without eating, as there is not much in the way of wildlife roaming in the Khezu's choice habitat.
Khezus are hermaphrodites, meaning an individual is both male and female. To reproduce they paralyze a creature and inject their young (Khezu whelps). The Whelps grow inside their victim until it dies or they are strong enough to leave.
Although the Khezus are cave dwellers, they go out if they please, or if food inside grows too scarce. The Khezu's habitat is often located near active sources of water; however, this is typical only in high humidity areas, such as swamps, jungles and the like. It would seem that the Khezu only lives for parts of the year in these warmer areas and migrate to the Snowy Mountains during the breeding season. It is there that the Khezus insert their Whelps into prey. Juvenile Khezus are called Whelps.
Red Khezu
Red Khezu, are medium-sized wyverns and the colored subspecies of the Khezu. Also known popularly amongst hunters as the "Blood Khezu" because of its blood red-like tint to its flesh.
Unlike the Khezu however, who attacks close-range enemies with its head straight forward, the Red Khezu can be unpredictable as it prefers to flail its neck frantically about. However, the Red Khezu is still weak to attacks focused on its head and neck and can be easily overcome when tripped. This specific subspecies, interestingly, is immune to fire and weak to water, unlike the Khezu, and the difference in elemental weakness is believed to be due to its unique colour variation.
While both the Khezu and the Red Khezu are known for gripping onto the ceilings of caves , dripping acid saliva or dropping down on unsuspecting hunters below, many hunters may recall that the Red Khezu is more 'known' for this behavior out of the two. Especially in the swamps, where the subterranean cave system is more expansive and thus the Khezu alternates between 'zones', giving it the oppurtunity to latch onto the ceilings and take hunters by surprise.
Kirin
Kirin resemble white unicorns with their horn and their glowing white aura. It casts a pure white "shadow" under it at all times. The Kirin can summon lightning to strike attackers, or the area around it. The Kirin can be seen in the Tower, Snowy Mountains, Swamp, Old Swamp, Battlefield, and Old Jungle.
Yama Tsukami
Yama Tsukami is the oldest creature known to hunters. It's skin is covered by Dragonmoss & Dragonwood. It has four tentacles and a pair of 'whiskers'. It drops Dragonwood and Dragonmoss as rewards. When enraged, its red eyes glow yellow.
This mysterious creature's place in relation to other monsters is completely unknown. Although a tremendous size, it is able to constantly stay up in the air with no support. Its attacks are slow but devastating.
They seem to have a symbiotic relationship with Great Thunderbugs, which lets them rest inside Yama Tsukami's body until they mature. In return, the Great Thunderbugs assist it by attacking Hunters. These Thunderbugs can explode when they are near a Hunter, causing a good amount of damage to its target.
