Conga
The Conga are medium size, pink-furred Pelagus that inhabit the Jungles and Swamps. They are known for their abillty to charge at hunters like Bullfangos (but slower) and travel in packs. They resemble pink gorillas with black underbellies and have a blonde patch of hair atop of their head. The alpha leaders of the Conga are the Congalala and Emerald Congalala. There exists a similar ape-like monster called the Blango, who are lead by a Blangonga. Although Green Congalala exists, there are no Green Conga. The reason Emerald Congalala are green is that they ate more plants than meat. This may be a Pelagus trait, as there are Copper Blangonga but no brown Blango. It may affect only certain monsters, depending on what events occur to them.
Congalala
The Congalala is a Pelagus monster that inhabits the Jungle and Swamp. It resembles a giant, tailed gorilla with pink fur, a hippo-like head, and long front claws. The spike on its head is actually hair that the Congalala has smoothed into shape to signify that they are the pack leader. Congalalas are suprisingly intelligent beasts.
The lesser forms of the Congalala are the Conga. These minions are smaller and have furry blonde hair on top of their heads, that resembles the hair-horn of the Congalala when broken.
Emerald Congalala
The Emerald Congalala is color variant of the Congalala that eats mostly plants, causing its fur to turn green. It has a beard and a bigger hair crown, and is more aggressive than the normal Congalala. The Congalala weapons from Monster Hunter Freedom 2 can be upgraded using Emerald Congalala materials for more attack power.
When the Emerald Congalala eats the object that its tail is holding it can breathe out a variety of dangarous stomach fluids. If he consumes a mushshroom, the breath will cause either Poison, Sleep, Paralysis or even become flaming. If something else is eaten, the breath will have the same effect as the farts.
Blango
Blangos are Primatius monsters that inhabit the Snowy Mountains. They can burrow underneath the snow in wait for prey or stalk the rock and ice above. Blangos frequently hunt in packs. Their appearance resembles that of a baboon - they have a red face with large manes above them. The alpha male of a Blango pack is the Blangonga. There exist similar primates to the Blango; these are called Conga. Although weak when fighting alone, Blango will fight ferociously when led by a Blangonga. If the Blangonga enters Rage mode the Blango's will follow suit and enter rage as well, throwing ice chunks at hunters that can cause the Snowman status
Blangonga
The Blangonga is a Pelagus classed monster that inhabits the Snowy Mountains. As the alpha-male of the pack, the Blangonga is twice as large as the average Blango with a much more aggressive appearance. Its strong, muscled limbs allow it run and leap at a startling speed, and its powerful roar can catch hunters unawares without adequate hearing protection. By calling out to its pack, the Blangonga can summon Blangos to fight beside it in battle. Its deadly speed can bewilder the novice hunter, as he can perform a dive that can send him rolling into his foes and deal out massive damage. Blangonga can break ice at his feet and hurl it at hunters to inflict a Snowman status, or break it into ice shrapnel that can send his foes flying.
BattleFire elemental weapons work best against the Blangonga and can be used to break off his large canines. Unlike most monsters, by grooming its fur the Blangonga can wipe off any Paintballs used to mark it, although luckily he tends to stick around the mountain tops and retreat back to the caves to recover.
Copper Blangonga
The Copper Blangonga is a subspecies of Blangonga which thrives in the desert zone. It has a brown coat of fur instead of the normal white coat; instead of throwing ice blocks in the air, it hurls giant rocks across the ground and instead of using an ice breath attack it uses a sand breath attack which will instantly put hunters or Felyne Comrades in the knocked-out state. The Copper Blangonga is slightly different in appearance from normal Blangongas - its face is much less compact and houses a larger set of canines.
Rajang
Rajang is a Pelagus brown minotaur-like beast with two large horns on its head. Rajang strongly resemble the Blangonga in its appearance and movement, even borrowing some of its attacks, but Rajang has broader muscles, a hairy-tip of the tail and possibly, an electrical sac in their body system. They are rarely seen in the wild due to their lonesome lifestyle. The Rajang's most notable attack is its ability to shoot electricity from its mouth, either as a blast or a beam. They are hated by some hunters, due to their speed, aggression and power.
They are also known for their rage mode, in which much of the fur on its front body rises and becomes yellow.
Rajang is found in a wide range of habitats; the Volcano, Snowy Mountains and Frontier-exclusive area, the Gorge.
